A.S. Sale - Elan Coton BBC 58-62

Elan Coton edged A.S. Sale in BAL Elite 16 Qualifier. The team from Benin posted a narrow 62-58 win after a massive comeback. A.S. Sale started with a 11-9 run and added a 27-13 surge in the second period. They led 16 points at the halftime, however lost the game. Elan Coton BBC replied with a 26-11 run in the third quarter and won the last stanza 14-9.
Micheal Afuwape (PG-1998) stepped up with 19 points and Robert Gilchrist (206-PF-1990, college: FSU) produced 11. Zakaria El Masbahi (192-F/G-1979) replied with 14 points in a loss and Soufiane Kourdou (211-C-1985) delivered 13.
